My partner made the application using our 2 kids who are British passport holders. I only send letter of support as advised by the solicitor so was not a party. The complaint was about how long it has taken for HO to deal with the application and that we want the kids passport back as they cannot go...

I'm April 2012 too. :D

My ex-wife was March 2012, her biometric was done in April 17th 2012 and no news since. My 2 kids British passport has been with UKBA since and am thinking about calling them to get it back

My application was sent on 14th Nov, got my approval end of Jan 2012 but have to wait for 6 weeks for my ceremo which is tomorrow. I was told by Newham Council that had to pay i think the same figure if i want private ceremo, but what is the point to rush and pay this money after paying £836 to UKBA

At work though but just been informed that a brown envelope has been delivered to my address by post - If is what am expecting then its taken 11weeks. Can wait to get home to open it, hope is a good news!!!

@Blackhole - Cherryplum applied before us but yet to get approval. I think the applications are treated on case by case basis so "patience" is the word. Our time will come.
