It is online or paper form only.

There is no "premium method" for first adult passports.

It usually takes a couple of weeks up to 6 weeks.
Thanks!

Passport Applications - is there a delay?

How are people finding with timelines for applications? On the Passport timeline thread i see some have managed to get it anywhere from 20 to 30 days - even though gov.uk says can take a minimum of 6 weeks.
Are you guys applying through the normal online method, or any other premium method?

Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

Did anyone who moved houses at the beginning of lockdown have issues with where the invitation letter or certificate were sent? I informed UKVI if my address change and received my approval via email in May. The email showed the correct address on it but I never received a physical letter. I tried ...

My ceremony will be held on Friday virtually! :D :D :D I applied in February, and got my letter of inviation only in August. Though the letter was dated in March. I called the council as soon as i got the letter, and they said there's a huge backlog and to get in touch early September - and to keep...

Re: Citizenship Ceremony cancelled due to Covid-19

Congrats. I don't know why they're not doing nationwide virtual ceremonies. Thank you! And i'm sure they will at some point have a virtual option available for everyone. When i contacted the council last month, they said they were still waiting until home office sent them the certificates, and hadn...

Re: Naturalisation applications during Coronavirus lockdown

I applied on the 25th February. I’m wondering if people who applied around that time have got a decision?

Also is there an email or contact number to find out? Or should I wait until the states 4-6 months?

Highly likely HO would ask you to pay the difference. I can't comment any further, sorry. You need to decide what is best for you but you do risk not getting the money back that you have paid. Good luck. Here's an update! APPROVED!! Had the appointment this morning, and i had submitted a cover lett...

Re: Tier 2 PBS Dependent extension (Main app on ILR) + IHS Question

Write a detail letter explaining the issue. HO will likely ask you to make a payment for the difference. It might also delay your application decision. So choose the service you want and hop e for the best. Hey, so i'm thinking of making a fresh application again (today before the IHS goes up tomor...

is it possible to pay IHS before 8th and submit the application later? As I am waiting for my newborn passport. i think you have 30 minutes from the time you pay the IHS to complete the application. Put an end date of 3 years ahead. thanks - i just registered and went through the IHS website to see if they actually ask for it. But they didn't. So for anyone else googling this in the future - if you select Tier 2 PBS dependant in the visa type, then they don't ask anything about the certificate...

Re: Tier 2 PBS Dependent extension (Main app on ILR) + IHS Question

It is a 3 year extension as stated in the immigration rules and IHS for 3 years is payable. You cannot choose a lesser time visa validity. Thanks for this. I have another question: On the IHS site, it says i need the start and end date of the Certificate of Sponsorship. I am on the ILR visa now, so...

Tier 2 PBS Dependent extension (Main app on ILR) + IHS Question

Hi there, I've been out of the loop and just found out that the IHS is increasing on the 8th Jan (coming Tuesday!) and frantically trying to get my wife's Tier 2 PBS dependant visa extension application done before that! I got my ILR in August, and my wife's current Tier 2 expires 13th February. She...
