Why do you need Tier 2 sponsorship for a fixed-term employment that will end the day your current leave (PSW) expires? Leave as Tier 1 (PSW) migrant is good enough until that day!! If you wish to switch to Tier 2, then your permanent / fixed-term employment should last longer than the current leave...
