Re: New fees as expected

shocked as well for removal of the joint spouse fee which would have saved us around 400 pounds!

I remember they published the proposed new fees early on for last year ? .. Did i just miss it?
I did not see this coming and would have applied if I knew before April.

GRRRRR!!!

I was previously only selecting "Bachelor's Degree" instead of "Bachelor's Degree from Center of Excellence or Prestigious University".

what is this language certificate we can provide? Applicants should submit a copy of this language certificate with their application. I mean for tier 1, we didn't have to provide language certification. For my case, I only had a degree certificate and a UK NARIC equivalence certificate. Thanks

Hello everyone,
after getting letter of approval, how long does it normally take to receive the certificate of registration?

Received my letter last week but have not received it yet. I have scheduled a fast track passport application, but don't have the certificate for it yet.

thanks!

First of all, thank you to this forum and all the admins and gurus and people sharing their experiences. This site has been a goldmine and a great help to me. Particulary in helping to make sense the gamut of rules/documents/guides from the ukba site. HSMP entry clearane: 28/03/2008-28/03/2010 Entry...

"Please note that for tests due to be taken on or after 25 March 2013, the questions will be based on the new Life in the UK Handbook (Third Edition). Tests to be taken before 25 March 2013 will be based on the Life in the UK Handbook (Second Edition). "

first entry clearance date 28/03/2008 as HSMP, then switched to TIER 1 with expriy 28/03/2013 entered UK 25/06/2008 (i deduce is less than the 90 day window). was just thinking about if it said do not apply 1 day more, then i would have been ok to apply on 27/03/2013. following on this logic, then I...

hi so if expiry is say 28-03-2013,
what is the earliest time I can apply? is it 28-02-2013 (from timeanddate.com date subtract 28 days)
or do we have to add 1 day to include the expiry date itself. so that will be 01-03-2013 ?

thanks.

hi all, i'm also confused with the 28 day rule. my visa expires 28-03-2013. subtract 28 days from the website given gives 28-02-2013. but from the advice from above, it seems we need to add 1 day from the date calculator answer? does that mean I can only apply on 01-03-2013 ?? thanks. need your advi...
