Re: Financial requirement for spouse visa under new rule

Hi My husband is going to apply for spouse visa in China. I have some question about financial requirements. My income has met the requirement of £18600 and my question is that I was on maternity leave from Jan to July, so the proof I need to provide is 6 month payslips before I went on maternity l...

I wasn't clear about the NI stuff... my head was in quite a muddle! Because they will look at my income at the lowest point, and because I worked part-time for 3 weeks, my lowest income will not meet the criteria. I did not realise this until quite late, i stupidly thought they will look at my aver...

spouse visa approved in 6 business days in West Africa

I created this thread to highlight my concerns about how the financial requirements for spouse visa did not cover limited liability contractors that are in their first trading year and have been salaried employees previously. I showed my dividends/salaries for 6 months which exceeded £18,600 and add...

Salary and dividends. Follow clause 9 . Clause 2 also applies but with a slight difference - The "employer letter" is to be replaced with a letter from certified accountant (see paragraph 19 (g)(ii) of Appendix A ) certifying the same content as prescribed in 2d. Ignore 2e if you don't have any bet...

Sorry to ask but where did you get your information? I just phoned the post office and they said no, as long as the application form is completed and all the supporting document are there.
Is this your first passport application?

Anyway, I will advise you physically ask from Post office.

Physical presence of your husband is required. Applying for a passport via the post office is a security issue not be by proxy.
