Re: Tier 1 Dependant extension at the same time as main applicant applying for ILR

Presumably it is February this year. You would both need to do your separate applications and for her PBS Dependent extension, you will need to write a covering letter asking HO to hold her application until your ILR is decided. If your ILR fails, her extension application will also fail. She must ...

Topic moved to the Tier 1 Ent sub forum.

What date do both your visas expire??
Sorry I wasn't sure whether to post it in the T1 Ent forum or family immigration forum.

Both our visas expire on the same date, end of February.

After reading through this very informative and helpful thread: https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for ...

HMRC Self Employed welcome letter misplaced!

Hi The original self employed welcome letter that the HMRC had sent out to me seems to be have been lost in the post...I spoke with them and asked for a replacement to be sent out which I received today, but that letter seems to be worded a bit differently....it reads: "CONFIRMATION OF UNIQUE ...

So where exactly does it say that your business has to conform and fit within only one SOC? With regards to the SOC being a whole domain...they are primarily designed for work permit applications and not as a means of classification of business activity. In fact, that's part of the problem and the ...

Can we list multiple SOC codes on the application form

Hi I've gone through the guidance notes and the application form but couldn't really find a definitive answer to this...for example, if someone wishes to set up a company that provides a range of services spanning across more than one SOC code and there isn't one "core" sector, is it ok to list all ...

I guess unless we have a precedent where someone has applied based on the same premise we can't really tell...even then it's subjective to the way each case workers views it.

Good to see a few replies on this and some good info/advice. Hammad, it's a nice co-incidence to hear from you here...I remember following and being part of your discussions on the ACCA forum regarding PSW based on ACCA qualification etc...that was another contentious issue. I think the point Hammad ...

Hi I've been scanning the forum for advice/guidance regarding this specific field and there seems to be very few posts about it..which does actually scare me a bit. Relax and take a breath

Hi Khurram Before providing any input, the first advice I'd give you is to take a step back and relax. The majority of mistakes happen when you either rush or get too hyped about the situation. As far as your question is concerned, it is quite simple : 1. You can apply for PSW as long as you have ...

Your only other option is to apply out of time which should be avoided and indeed if you do that you won't be able to work anyway. I don't see why it would take your university over two weeks to issue the letter but they are the best people to ask how long it takes to issue. Firstly, thanks for ...
