hi guys finally my husbands Ilr has been approved. my case was not straight forward, however all ended well, with a result within 10 weeks. applied on the 18/10/11 ack letter receieved 21/10/11 ilr approved 19/12/11 received by post on 31/12/11. i am so happy.. Best of luck for all those waiting

hi guys

finally my husbands Ilr has been approved. my case was not straight forward, however all ended well, with a result within 10 weeks.

applied on the 18/10/11
ack letter receieved 21/10/11
ilr approved 19/12/11
received by post on 31/12/11.

i am so happy..

thanks for the reply. he did make the application 28 days before his visa was about to expire. so hopefully all should be ok........

hi guys

Just wanted to know that whilst my husbands ilr (set m) is being considered is he still allowed to work in uk????? or does he have to wait for an decision and then contiue to work

hi guys

i was having a read of my husbands ack letter and noticed that it read:

our reference xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
your reference: this part was empty.

its got me quite worried, say if i have to chase up his application, i wont have a reference number

is this normal

I don't see any problems with the residency requirements but the cohabitation issue might cause problems. How are you going to show 6 letters addressed to both of you at the same address. May be you can explain the reasons but I think it is better to consult a solicitor. If your friends who are immi...
