Did anybody have citizenship ceremony at Glasgow?

How often do they hold group ceremonies? How long had you waited for a ceremony since you rung the council?

I just received invitation letter yesterday and plan to book an appointment on Monday. I have an overseas trip on 25 April and wonder whether I would have the ceremony before the trip.

10 weeks now. Received a brown envelope last week, asking for PSNI data. I left Northern Ireland 4.5 years ago. I rang HO to ask why, and was told that everybody who lives or has lived in Northern Ireland has to provide PSNI data. So I posted a DAT1 to PSNI requesting they sent data to UKBA directly...

The Ref number is same as on your ILTR letter.

I left NI 4.5 years ago and have lived in Scotland since. I submitted my application at an NCS in Scotland . Still they requested access to PSNI data.

No need to worry. Now the average time between 'received by HO' and debit fees is 1 month. Have they debited the fee now?
Hi, I applied through NCS on 26/11, the application was received by HO on 1/12 (bit long for a special delivery), and so far I haven't received any aknowledgement,...

It's worth only if you need passport during the 3-4 months. If you don't travel abroad during this period, there is no need to waste £53
has any one used the NCS service....it is any good or worth it? or best just use the post office
