Hi guys,
owing to the delay of my passport/application for further leave to remain.

I got in touch with my local MP 3 weeks ago, who promised to get my passport back.

However its going on 3 weeks now and I haven't as much got an acknowledgement letter from him ?

What do i do ?

hi guys, I met with the local MP 2 weeks back on the 15th of june 2013 and he promised to help me get my passport back. I applied for further leave to remain. Just curious if anyone has any experience on this and normally how long does it take ? procedures etc ? Am in a desperate situation as am ...

Others in similar situation have asked their local MP's office to look into the matter. And in some cases, MP involvement has secured response (not necessarily expedited review) from UKBA.
