Re: there shud be online status

I think the reason is there is no online status check on the progress; having no visibility just makes people kind of psycho. then they go on asking funny questions... how does the approval envelope look like :)... what is written in the letter... I agree with you 100%, so hard to stay patient :P

I have received a letter yesterday ( not from UKBA), just a random junk mail, that was posted over a month ago, and was stuck with the Royal Mail the whole time, so we need to consider the postage issues as well.

Thank you, Blackhole, it is a very stressful time, and there seems to be no method in this madness. I, myself, was quite lucky as I got my BC within around 2 months of applying, but this person I know doesn't seem to be so lucky. Shame they wouldn't give you any updates, let alone an apology for goi...

Someone I know applied in December 2011 - just don't jump on me - you know who - "forum police" particular member and I don't mean moderators or admin, just because it's a December application please, thank you. They waited 5 months, rang to ask for documents to be returned as they needed ID, hoping...

Docs were sent back, but no decision. After 5 months. The wait is still on. How disappointing :( Anyone had the same situ...

Thank you, Miu - you're right, it is the best Christmas present definitely this year. It took 4 days exactly from my interview to be delivered. The passport was actually printed the day after my interview, I have checked it online, via email application update - have you tried this service? It usual...
