I received my documents back yesterday with approval letter. The letter was written on 10th March, 2008. So took a while get documents back in Australia. Anyway it took 28 days in total. I will plan now in next six months what to do next. Thanks everybody ans good luck to all. Cheers, Zia-ul-Hassan

I just called HSMP number and they are not willing to provide any update on the application which is still within their service standards (5-14 weeks).

So roughly it taking 3 weeks to process an application provided all required documets are sent and they are valid.

Are such rules in alignment for one of requirements for HSMP migrants to make UK as their home country?

I think it doesn't give the confidance and moral/social support that a migrant needs when comes to a new country, even if he/she can fulfill financial needs or whatsoever.

If this happens that will be a MAD decision. I have applied under HSMP but now I have to think before I get it stamped on my Passport.

Well I think I will wait , and see if case worker picks this up. Otherwise probably IELTS is easy option at the moment but getting test date is bit annoying here in Australia, there is at least one month wait queue.

I can follow up with Courier (Australia Post) tomorrow as they are closed at the moment. I am not 100% sure whether I would be able to change the address if the documents are not delivered yet.
