I know that Croatians will probably use a different form, like Bulgarian and Romanians. But the form shows the list of the EU members, and it includes Bulgaria and Romania (and it shows a *). They could have put Croatia too!
Just the information on the EU members is wrong then![/quote]

Interesting that this form works from the 1st of July, but it forgets to mention Croatia as the new EU member!

Am I missing something? With a EEA FP - the wife will be able to work as soon as she arrives in the UK. Without the FP technically she will be able to work once she is married, but it's difficult to prove to a potential employer, so in practice she will have to wait months until the EEA2 is issued. ...

I had the immigration status document for years and never had any problem!
Whoever said it's not advised to travel with it is absolutely wrong!

Anyway, soon you will be able to apply for British Citizenship?

Normally they do credit check.
It's not an excuse telling that you moved and never received the letters - you wouldn't think that the debt would disappear, right?

Peter, Hi, I hope it all goes well with your wedding! :-) Congrats! The reason why people say to get married there is that it will look better for the eyes of the immigration officer. I *think* that it will be easier for her to get a visa to live in the UK as she is already married to you then. Beca...

Yes, it seems that people applying by post or C&S will receive the new passport (provided you don't choose the extra thick passport).

Hi, So, myself and my partner, both passports were faulty. We tested in the machine, and also the staff from there went internally and checked and also told it was not working - both passports! Then they said they would replace it immediately. And it would be issued the old model, as that location o...

Markie, I see! But the passport is not printed there I suppose. It doesn't matter where you have the interview. I think that all postal applications for new passports are directed to a printing department, which is the only one with the new model. Someone else did a postal application and got the ol...

Please check http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=76763 I enquired in person and they are still issuing the old model at IPS "London Victoria". I thought it was strange too as I had the new model (postal application) and people receiving the passports there were getting the old model. Th...

It has the picture on it.
In fact, it's the same label they glue in the passport, but now stick to an A4 paper. You see the same thing that you will see in the passport.

No, you will not have problem at all! I am the unlucky one! Perhaps the faulty was with passports produced on the exact same day, as mine and my partner's passport didn't work either. Not sure if it's because it's the new model, not sure... I hope some senior member can comment on this. According to...

Hi All, Just returned from Calais. First time using a british passport. However they couldn't read the microchip from either mine or my partner's passport. The immigration officer was struggling to read it, and gave to a colleague to read in his system. It didn't work either. Then I asked and explai...
