expenditure??

Did the case worker ask about your expenses?? I have 8000GBP expenses - all legitimate but I did not think that I need to prepare any documents to prove how I made it. I thought its HMRC's job to ask about expenses, but now I'll be prepared.

ILR application - self-employed

Dear Friends, I am having PEO appointment at Sheffied in November for ILR. I have one question: Being a Director of a Ltd company, I take salary via dividends and director fees. My accountant has said that according to HMRC, I am classed as employee of my company and will only pay Class 1 National i...

For everyone who has concern about Criminality Threshold

Hi all, Finally, I got reply from UKBA. Please find the following link which details my question and reply from UKBA. I had a fine of 189.17 from HMCS Loughborough (Magistrate court) and asked UKBA if I should worry about it if I have no unspent concitions on Disclosure Scotland and a clean subject ...

Then the question is - if you loose the case in court and if the court tell you to pay xyz GBP - is this deemed to be a fine from court, spent after 5 years under Rehabitation of Offender's Act? I think its not, as its your insurance company (and not you) who'll pay for the damage but still its good...

3rd extension - Tier 1 (general)

I entered Tier 1 (HSMP) on August 2007, eligible for ILR on August 2012. However, I have a non-recordable magistrate court fine for not paying road tax in November 2007. Therefore, I have decided to make one more extension under Tier 1 and apply for ILR after November 2012. My question is: Can I app...

Best luck mate, Things are very confusing - ILR should have a standard set of rules and should not be dependent on case workers. Technically, a fine from court will be spent after 5 years. Now if there are different categories of fine (i.e. driving on international licence, getting fine from court i...

1) just call DVLA

2) If conviction date is before 5 years of applying, you are OK not mentioning but nothing wrong in mentioning as they cant decline yr ILR if there's nothign serious about the offense.

Spoke with NACRO and he said UKBA does not have access to police local computers. so if a standard disclosure scotland is clean, you dont have to worry. UKBA only checks police national computer. They wont object any non-recordable offenses such as not paid road tax. He said to me to relax and apply...

Mate,

Do you have a link (UKBA link) which says that criminal threshold is only for settlement and citizenship and not for Tier 1 visas??

That link will be life saver.

She said that you cannot if the conviction is unspent. I am tensed now. Basically I cannot apply for Tier 1 extension or an ILR because of t...
