Hi,

I have received my OCI. On close inspection I have realised that they have forgotten to stamp (seal) beside the signature of the issuing authority. Is it going to be a problem while travelling? Do I need to travel back to london (3 .5 hours drive to get it stamped? Please advice.

Doesn't matter how long your have had your HSMP approved. You have to wait 1 year from the date ILR has been granted and ILR consideration time can not be included in this one. e.g. If ILR has been granted on 14th of November 2011, you will be eligible to submit your naturalisation application on 1...

My parents are in UK visiting me for 6 months which will be finished in February 2012. I am applying for registration of my daughter for a British citizen under section 1 (3) using MN1 application. She was born in UK. My ILR was stamped in Nov 2011. Section 2.2 of the form states the addresses for the last 5 years..and section 2.3 asks for the absences from UK during the above residen...
