Re: DLA (disability living allowance) eligibility on ILR

But I am getting child benefit and it was approved though my daughter was still under immigration control i...

Re: DLA (disability living allowance) eligibility on ILR

Just an update: DLA refused as my daughter has no recourse to public funds even though I have ILR. This means that child is the claimant in entitlement sense but parent/carer/relative will act as supervisor. so people on this forum who were suggesting that if parent got ILR then their kids with immi...

Re: ILR SET(M) PEO success for previously Tier 1(G) dependan

Hi Taha, sorry I couldn't find any satisfactory answer for the issue mentioned. There was a misconception since april 2014 that dependent of ILR (LR) would have to apply for FLR(M) and wait for 5 years to be eligible for ILR. Instead dependent were eligible to apply for ILR under para 287a(i)D. whic...

Re: DLA (disability living allowance) eligibility on ILR

Let me clarify what I meant, children under 16 qualify for DLA in their own right. If DLA is claimed for someone under 16 the Secretary of State appoints another person to receive and deal with the allowance on their behalf, usually a parent. However, the child must satisfy the adult conditions. Wh...

Re: DLA (disability living allowance) eligibility on ILR

DLA would be claimed by a parent for a child under 16. What's the status of both parents? I got ILR but mother is still on FLR(M). on child benefit form it clearly asks for the person who is claiming (i.e. parent etc), but on DLA form it doesn't mention about the claimant. forms requires details ab...

Re: DLA Child Benefit

If you only have ILR, then you are still a Pakistani national and need to complete the form appropriately. You can claim child benefit in your name. Should not be an issue with FLR(M) for your spouse. hi, can you please quote text whether I am eligible for DLA for my daughter. I am on ILR but my da...

Re: ILR SET(M) PEO success for previously Tier 1(G) dependan

287 is not applicable when FLR(M) is granted under Appendix FM . the following paragraph says 7.11. Corrections are being made to enforce the intention that only dependants of individuals who qualified for settlement under the Points-Based System can apply for settlement as dependants of Points-Bas...
