meaning of UK public authority

Hi everyone, We want to get a new EU passport for our son, but the local embassy wants either both parents to be present or if only one can come, a written authorization from the other parent certified by a UK public authority. Can anyone clarify what is meant by "public authority" and where could I...

it is strange you were refused, did you send them his payslips?Normally they like to see either payslips or P60. What did it exactly say in the letter of refusal? You can stay in this country, no one is going to deport you, you are 100 percent legal to stay and work here as long as your husband is e...

Call 0151 672 5626 ( Opt1, then 2), waiting time is around 20mins, if you have tracking nbr from Post office- give it to them, so they will track if your COA was posted to you yet. If the operator refuses to track(sometimes they say it's too early), just call back and speak to someone else. Normally...

Call 0151 672 5626 ( Opt 1, then 2), now wait till they answer you, don't disconnect your call even if it's silent(usually it's classical music during the wait), normally they answer within 20mins.
I call them once a week and always get through. Let us know how it goes.

It's hard to prove sth, because employers get booklets from UKBA threatening to fine them £10.000 and even imprison them if they knew they were employing someone illegally and UKBA fail to mention that you are legal to continue your employment whilst waiting for COA. Dismissal requires that the empl...

0300 123 4699 this is employers helpline, call them, explain your situation, maybe pretend you are still at this job and your employer is about to dismiss you or just say you were already dismissed(it's up to you) and ask if the employer could still keep you at this job legally, because if they coul...

Thanks for your reply, Directive/2004/38/EC, I gave my employer the number to call, which they will call maybe tomorrow, but I called it myself and explained that my employer is asking me for COA which I cannot provide since UKBA is still considering my application, he then asked me same question as...

Hi everyone, I applied for an EEA2 application almost a month ago and my employer is asking me to leave my job, because I'm not able to provide them COA. I keep calling and writing to Home Office, but they say it's still under consideration and they need to validate my application. Is there anything...

Thanks for your reply, stetois.
