i applied on 23rd april, sent additional documents on 27th May, identity interview on 5th July and passport printed on 19th.I took more than 3 weeks to send additional docs otherwise I would have thought the entire process would take around 6-8 weeks

Hi,I attended identity interview for my child on 5th July and received an update today that the passport was printed and dispatched on 19th July.So it took around 2 weeks from identity interview in my case.

First child passport from overseas India
Method of application: In person
Passport office: VFS global
Application submitted: 23rd April
Application received: 29th April
Additional documents submitted: May 27
Identity interview: July 5
Application approved: July 19
Passport received: Waiting

Thanks.Is that because my initial grant was before April 2010 though my last extension was made after April 2011(October 2011) when i apply under Long term staff to extend beyond 5 years?

I am in the same situation as yours but would like to know if we can extend our VISA again beyond 2013 Dec under Long term staff category.(not worried abt ILR though).Original grant was during Nov 2008 and the last extension was on Oct 2011.
