Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

Contacted MP twice. He contacted them twice and this loser only sends them emails. I'm a bit lost. What did you expect him to do? MPs do not have any power over the Home Office or any other government department. They can't direct the Home Office. The only power that they have is to embarrass the g...

Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

What I notice with my personal experience is that two of my friends applied for British citizenship separately this year, both have similar immigration history and no convictions. However, one got approval in 7 weeks, Another is waiting for 5 months now. Only difference is that he put some addition...

Dear all, Hope you are all well and coping ok with the waiting for positive decisions on application. I just wanted to check whether anyone who recently applied has been issued with the ILR, although the guidelines suggest the waiting period of a six months. Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

I have updated my name on my Diving Licence after submitting the ILR application. The new Driving Licence has a different number to the old one which I've included with the ILR application. In other words, ILR application has old Driving Licence number.

Could this be an issue?

By saying you are separated, does this mean you just live separately, in different addresses? When did you separate? Did you inform the home office when you separated?

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Hi All, just a quick question on applying with a NEW NAME. I changed my name using a Deed Poll on 08-May-2020. My current BRP expires in 15-June-2020 which has my OLD name. I applied for an ILR on 16-May-2020. In the application I've used the OLD name (the one on my BRP) as the Applicant's Name, an...

Re: SET (Protection) Route applications

Question about dependants. I have a wife and a daughter (under 18) who are dependants on my Refugee Leave. Do I simply include them in my online application? Or do they need to apply separately, where each one of us will have a separate online application? I'm only asking because a friend of mine h...
