I suggest that in order to ensure a smooth application, your wife stops claiming single person discount - at least until after your application is approved. Like the previous respondent said, it is conflicting that you say you are living somewhere else but at the same time claim to be living togethe...

Passports are delivered 6 days a week, like normal post though they tend to come with courier service. I suggest you wait for up to 2 weeks after your interview for your passport to be delivered. You may be lucky though as courier service resumes Thursday 27th December.

Yes you do. you have to include five years addresses. home or abroad. i think the reason why is to confirm your wife.s identity. so pls make sure that any addresses you put down especially the first two years adresses correspond with whatever addresses your wife.s old ukba applications have.

I can probably answer ur first question best. Put down your address (his old address). The application is YOUR application so the focus is mainly on you. So yes put down your address and not your husband.s. Had the same experience as spouse and i were separated at the time of my bc application but t...

Yes he should tick the box that he meets the requirement as well as include the ESOL certificate.

If he is applying via NCS they would most likely ask him to include the certificate anyway, so yes include it. Doesn't harm as well.

So many views - yet no answer cos you need lots of direction. Yours is a tough one to elaborate on but I am guessing your best bet is to become civil partners and only after that can you apply for a visa as the partner of a british citizen. I beleive your local citizens bureau has facilities to advi...

I think it is absolutely fine. If you like include a cover letter explaining that you currently live at so so address but you will be moving house and that the address you have put on the form is that of your friend. Also ask them to contact you if they have any further queries. It's not a big probl...

it's fine

I think this question has been answered several times before in this forum. But here goes: It's fine for a british citizen with an expired passport to act as your referee. they will only check their systems to confirm that indeed the referee is british....using his/her passport number to do this. go...

Not necessary, but that would help as it would make things easier for the case worker. So yes include the covering letter. A short one.

I think you will really complicate matters by writing different names without a deed poll or marriage cert - which obviously doesnt apply in your case. surely as much as the names will only be swapped, its best to play safe and write exactly what is in your passport - exactly. once you get your brit...

Hi Jambo, Yes, correct. Page 13. I am satisfying the criteria but thought to add this info. Do you think will it create difference? When you meet the criteria then there is no need to add this (useless) info. You got into a shop and want to buy a shirt which is priced £20. The shopkeeper will hand ...
