Are you sure it wasnt the person who did your biometrics that you're refering to as case worker? I had mine in Croydon and didnt interact with case worker at all.

Yes I got all my paid annual leaves confirmed by my employers in the letter. No, they didnt verify where I went to just dates, numbers of days taken and reason. All of the reason were mainly described on the letter as "Annual Leave"

It seems there is a trend going on now at Croydon Peo requesting additional docs particularly for applicants claiming income from self employment. Looks good but don't forget absence letter from your employers and also copies of everything you've got. Good luck, you should be fine with these.
