Hope someone can help. I have lived in the UK for nearly 3 years and am married to a UK citizen. I am currently on a 5 year ancestry visa from NZ. Stupidly we were under the impression that after 3 years I could apply for ILR however now realise you have to have been on a spouse visa for the first 3 ...
