Stay outside UK with ILR

Hi,
I am in India for the past 1 year with a valid UK ILR.
How long can I stay outside the UK that doesn't make my ILR invalid?
Has anything changed with BRITEXIT?

Re: Travel out using Indian passport and back on British?

Can she enter India with her Indian passport, but with the now expired UK Tier-1 dependent visa? Tier 1 dep is irrelevant to enter India. When returning, she will have to show both Indian and British passport to be able to board the flight. Expired Tier 1 G dep will not help with returning/boarding ...

Re: Travel out using Indian passport and back on British?

Absolutely fine from the British end; may have issues with Indian immigration. I believe that she will need an exit visa from the Indian authorities. I am sure you will be aware of the joys of dealing with Indian babudom . Has your daughter got her registration certificate or is that still pending?...

Re: Travelling on Indian Passport

Was kkhhyyaattii10 having a valid BRP when she travelled? My case: Our 3-year old daughter's Tier1 dependent BRP expired on Jan 6 (2014). We didn't apply for her ILR but directly applied for naturalisation as both her parents had ILR. The date on her Certificate of Registration as a British Citizen...

I and my wife have both ILRs on Indian passsports. My daughter's Tier-dependent visa has expired 2 months back. My daughter is due to get her British passport. We do not have time to surrender her Indian passport and get an OCI; since we have to travel to India urgently. Can we use her Indian passpo...

English language -previously proven in Tier1

Hi, Apologies if a repeat question- My English language requirement was proven in my previous grant of leave on Tier1- as being a degree taught in English. But, when I use the current PBS the same degree fetches me zero (0) points for English language. How could this change? People have suggested th...

Re: Anyone from University of Rajasthan? Points for English

There are 3 ways you could resolve this 1. Get a letter from your university stating that this degree (which you have) was taught in English 2. Get a NARIC English Language Certificate (ELA). This costs £55 but they will also ask you to get degree taught in English letter from the university. 3. Gi...

Hi bhim_singh25

Have you been able to sort this out?

I am pretty surprised that Univ of Rajasthan that was earlier recognised on my previous grant of leave on Tier1 is now fetching me 0 points.

Re: Anyone from University of Rajasthan? Points for English

Hi,

UKBA has replied back yesterday saying I need to take a print out of the PBS calculator.

The latest PBS calculator returns zero for the same degree that was fetching me 10 points in the previous Tier-1 applications to UKBA.

What do senior members of the board suggest that I do now?

Hi, I am on Tier 1 General completing 5 years. When I first applied for Tier(as well as for extension), having selected University of Rajasthan for my BE degree in 1998; the PBS calculator was giving me 10 points. Now it gives me 0(zero) points for degree taught in English language. How has this cha...

defer ILR for dependents

Hi,

I, wife and daughter have Tier1 visas till Nov2015.

For job reasons - Can I alone apply now for ILR, say in July'15 and defer my dependent's ILR till say Nov'15?

Would there be any problem if I defer my dependents ILR?

Re: ILR-Evidence of earnings

Do you draw any dividend as part of your monthly income from company account? If you do and you are claiming these dividends to satisfy your overall earning then you need to submit dividend vouchers which you can make it on your own. Just speak to your accountant. No dividends. I just draw a salary.

Hi,

I could not find the MN1 fee in the form.

1. How much is it? And, what is extra charge for applying in person?
2. I and my wife both have ILR. Could just 1 parent go with our child for or child's MN1 application to the PEO office; or do both need to attend?
