Re: Proof of current address and continuous residence in UK

Yes CR001, that's what I thought as well. It was clearly obvious that it was a non EU application. The form that I had to sign to confirm that I will upload further documents stated all my details including my nationality as South African. Even the link in my original post states that the Home Offic...

Proof of current address and continuous residence in UK

All, Today I attended the Croydon UKVCAS to complete my naturalization application. I was asked to provide proof of current address and proof of continuous residence in the UK. Considering that I was granted ILR in 2017 and I had already proved residence in the UK (for my ILR application) and my nat...

Re: Successful ILR application experience

Hi All,

Quick update, our BRPs were delivered on Saturday (Nov 25th), 3 days after our appointment.
Personally, I feel that the extra money spent on the PSC appointment was well worth it. I've always done postal applications before this and have found the waiting time very stressful.

Cheers

Re: Successful ILR application experience

Hi Shak, Yes, the letter covered every absence from Nov 1st, 2017 to present. I did have one trip after 1st Nov 2017 which is after the 5 year period and I included this. It also included dates when I went away to Europe for the weekends. If I left on a Saturday and came back on a Sunday, I said I w...

Re: Immigration status while switching from T1(G) to T2(G)

Hi Vanessa, I don't think it matters too much about which code you pick. There were several codes which applied to me and we ended up picking the one we felt most suitable for the application. I would pick the NFQ level 6 code because its in line with the application and you also meet the salary req...

Hi guys,

Quick update, had our biometrics done today. There was a very long queue, I've never seen so many people submitting biometrics before. I think its going to be a long wait for a visa decision.

Re: Sponsor licence application timeline - Large company

Hi eduleal, My company sent their licence application in on July 8th and licence was granted on July 28th. Our circumstances are a bit different though. The company is very small and I already work for the company (almost 4 years) as a tier 1 visa holder. We also didn't need to do RLMt as my job is ...

Re: Time to receive Bio-metric Details Submission Letter

Hi, I've been watching your post because I submitted my application a few days after you. I don't think you should be concerned just yet. I've had instances where it has taken 3 weeks to receive the biometrics letter. The only time I would be concerned is if people with similar timeliness to you rec...

Switching from T1(G) to T2(G)

Hi All, I just thought I would update my post to help anyone who may find themselves in a similar position to myself, switching from T1 to T2 visa. My current T1 leave expires in Feb 2017 and I will be 8 months short to qualify for ILR. My company applied for a sponsor licence for 1 one unrestricted...
