Re: Personal Absence Letter

Prepare a simple tabular column with list of dates (in and out), days of absence, short description and arrange it in the order of your qualifying years. Sign it. That should be enough as long as ur absence is in the threshold of <180 days in each qual. years). Additionaly you can add eticktes as su...

Re: if any changes to Set O form and fees

How to pay the excess fee - Thats actually a million dollar question :-) :!: I am in the same boat as well. New fees will be coming into effect on 6 April 2014 for sure and new form too, thats for sure. Most feel that we have to pay the excess on D-Day or we should get some notification from UKVI. A...

Re: ILR Changes

I have a very simple situation actually Initial Leave - 10 June 2010 - 10 June 2013 (Entered UK 10 June 2010) Extension - 2 June 2013 - 2 June 2015 (PEO Extension) So there is a shortfall by 8 days covered by the 28 days rule With the new changes, I am wondering if I am forced to do a 2nd extension...

Re: ILR Changes

This is definitely a new clause - did not exist before... (b) on the date that the continuous period of 5 years (or 4 years as appropriate, as set out in (a)) ends, has leave as a highly skilled migrant, and has spent the remainder of the period with leave as a highly skilled migrant, a work permit...

Re: ILR Changes

Dear All, Based on this post, does this mean those who will apply for ILR in June 2014 will not be considered if their 5 years fell short by less than 3 months due to entering the UK in 2009 after 2 months of getting the first Tier 1? Thanks. No. Your safe provided if you dont fall under general gr...

Re: ILR eligibility date?

Hi Kurian,

If the 2nd T2 ICT Visa was a new application instead of extension of the first T2 ICT, then unfortunatley, by the rules, it becomes unqualified for ILR Application.

You need wait until you complete your 5 year, starting from Nov 2010.

Re: How far ahead are PEO appointments made available?

Yes, Booking date = intended PEO date - 42 days. Definitely slots are not full for your June requirement, instead they haven't released it yet. Though you can see that calender is wide open for next three months, its of no use really. EX: On 10 March, you can see slot released for the date upto 21 A...
