My baby has got british citizenship/passport and got under MN1(applied after i got ILR). I never applied to babys indian citizenship even though baby was eligible.
Now for applying PIO do i need surrender certificate or birth certificate itself should be enough for application.

Thanks SSWSZ, I think I will use the passport check and send service.

aakkoo: I had the same problem, therefore I used one refree from my office(Collauge) and other one was my friend. I had read in forums previously that Home Office is less strict about babies or children.

I actually did not recieve any acknowledgement letter. I recieved approval letter and certificate of registration from home Office.
Do you have any idea what is the best way to apply for passport now?
