hard copy of photo required for OCI?

Sorry if this is quite obvious, I couldn't find the answer anywhere:
I have uploaded the passport photo required for OCI, but do i need to take a printed copy of the photo as well?
Also, if I am applying just for myself, do I need just one Royal Mail envelope or more?
Thanks!

Re: Child naturalisation 3(1)

final update on this - both child and I have now received approval :D :D :D with no request for further info about father's status (or even any calls/letters to references). My child has however be invited to participate in the citizenship ceremony - he is not required to attend, but we will only ge...

Re: Phone number for biometrics?

A final update - both my son and I have now been approved (letter dated 05/07) :D :D :D but the letters were sent to the old address, despite my having updated my address in April before we moved. Moral - there is no updating service in effect, so you have to rely on Royal Mail redirection service!

FPN after AN application

Hello, I applied for naturalisation in April, and submitted my biometrics a couple of weeks ago. I have just received a FPN for speeding (36mph in a 30mph zone). I know that FPNs are usually not taken into account, but the AN form says "Fixed penalty notices (such as speeding or parking tickets) mus...

Re: Phone number for biometrics?

Update - our (AN and MN3(1)) biometrics letters have finally arrived. They were sent to our old address, even though as stated above, I changed our address on the HO weblink three weeks before the fee was deducted from my account! So if you are changing addresses, don't rely on the address updating ...

Re: Payment cleared account but no acknowledgement

HI Keano,
Congrats for getting the biometrics letter! I'm in the position you were in - money deducted on April 29th and no biometrics letter yet. I did get an email acknowledgement on the 29th, but starting to get really worried.

Phone number for biometrics?

I applied for naturalisation in the first week of April, and the fee was deducted (and an acknowledgement sent) on 29th April. I have still not received the biometric letter, and since I have moved (and changed my address using the home office online link) in the interim, I am worried that the lette...

Thanks for your replies. I should have clarified that I have applied already, and was looking for anyone who had been in a similar situation.

Change of address during naturalisation - fee payment

Hello, I have a question about change of address during the naturalisation process. I will be moving, so I will of course update my contact address using this link: https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outreach/AddressUpdate.ofml. After I move, I will need to change my address with my bank, so my questi...

Re: Child naturalisation 3(1)

Thanks both for the quick replies! The application was under 3(1) as I am applying for naturalisation along with the child, so it would be for child born aboard to non- British citizens. And yes, he was born in 2005. So he has been in the country 5 yrs as Tier 1 dependant, plus 1 yr with ILR. I'm ju...

Re: Child naturalisation 3(1)

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, my husband is the little one's father and we have put all the father's info and consent in the MN form, and included all the requested documentation. The problem is that it does not ask for proof of father's settled status anywhere (and NCS didn't ask me for it eithe...

Child naturalisation 3(1)

I've just submitted naturalisation applications based on 5yrs on Tier 1 plus 1yr ILR for myself and my 11 year old (born in the US, holding US passport), and was wondering whether anyone else has applied under MN 3(1) and could tell me what documentation you were asked for? My husband has ILR but ha...

Re: PBS calculator printout for English language not accepte

Also, moderators, is it possible to put this in the English language sticky? I used the information from that sticky and narrowly dodged a bullet today! Which also raises the question of whether I should have to submit my degree information again, as I have already done this for each Tier 1 app, and...

Re: PBS calculator printout for English language not accepte

Thanks for the quick reply, CR001! Any idea whether an old NARIC certificate will be enough (my partner had it done for his US degree in the initial Tier 1 application 6 years ago). Or does he have to pay again?

PBS calculator printout for English language not accepted

I just submitted my AN application (5yrs residence/ILR + 1yr) via NCS, and was asked for my degree (in addition to the LiUK). I asked why as the form had asked whether I had already submitted it as evidence for previous apps (ILR after Oct 2013). The NCS lady just shrugged. I gave her the degree plu...
