Re: ILR refused need help for deciding next action

I don't think the admin review is going to help much as HO is correct in refusing your application for more than 28 days overstay. You will need a strong argument to help your application explaining the gap. Better to apply again with supporting docs as by the time AR is done, your LTR will expire s...

Re: ILR refused . Queries for Appeal process

What is the reason for this gap and what evidence are you presenting to support your case?
You will be covered during the appeal process and will be eligible to work but will not be able to leave the country once your visa expires.

Re: Naturlization 6 Speeding Points SP 30

The booklet says application will be refused if conviction was within last 3 years so I believe its the date when court handed the order, not from the date of traffic contravention so you need to wait until 18/12/2017 but check from other sources too, thats just my estimate.

Following is from the AN guide/booklet If you have any endorsements on your driving licence you must access the DVLA website to download and print a summary of your record and send it with your application. Please note that a driving conviction may not be disregarded despite any penalty points being...

Re: ILR(Long Residence) refused and waiting for appeal.

Basically less income was filed in 2010 tax year and no income was declared in 2012 tax year, Which HO mentioned in my refusal(Clearly mentioned the 2012 tax discrepancies and a note saying it is further noted that in previous years they are unable to verify the earnings for the points i claimed fr...

Re: Change Name Immediately after getting First British Pass

Do not change names until you get your OCI (if you plan to apply for it). Manka10, Can you please explain why? Changing names before completing the process is not advisable. E.g. HMPO will only issue a British passport as per the name in your foreign passport in that same way Indian Embassy may not...

Re: Change Name Immediately after getting First British Pass

Do not change names until you get your OCI (if you plan to apply for it). Your name cannot be changed on the Indian passport as you are no longer an Indian national and your Indian passport must be surrendered asap

Re: Travelling to India on Indian Passport

You can keep the Indian passport and also use it to travel to India for up to 3 months after naturalisation without attracting any penalties You need a copy of British passport to surrender the Indian passport so surrender process cannot be initiated before applying and acquiring a British passport ...

Re: Interview 3 weeks ago - NO British Passport..

HMPO only issues passports as per the name in your foreign passport, If you change your name and those changes are not reflected on your foreign passport then HMPO may not issue a British passport. Best policy is to refrain from changing names till you get your first British passport but too late fo...

Re: Conseqences of Loosing Indian citizenship

I was aware of rules with regards to ownership of agricultural land being restricted to Indian citizens. I theorised that OCIs likely would have analogous rights. The rest of the information is based on the fact that in the period between acquiring British citizenship and acquiring OCI (which I tho...

Re: Conseqences of Loosing Indian citizenship

Or the 'Vagina Tandoori', I have to visit, but I'm not having the fish... Worst photoshop job I have seen in sometime... A major correction, OCIs CANNOT own agricultural land in India (but can inherit and keep already bought farm land) nor hold any government post and no voting rights. I beli...

Re: Can revokation of Indian passport impact citizenship app

If thats the case then kick that judge's arse for overstepping authority. How can the passport be revoked by someone who has no jurisdiction over the matter? Doesn't it get reviewed by someone higher up before taking such an extreme step?! File a case against that dumbass judge itself for obstructio...

Re: Can revokation of Indian passport impact citizenship app

Slightly different take on the issue. Revocation of passport is a serious matter. Here the actual case is of ignoring court summons and possibly contempt of court which can result in a criminal charge attracting a prison term, no matter if it is due to a civil issue. Your civil issue has snowballed ...

Re: NEW AN(Citizenship) FORM MAY'2015

Before writing nonsense like that, you'd better look up the definition of "net migration". It has nothing to do with acquiring British Citizenship, it is simply an estimate of the balance between people leaving and arriving into tge UK. PS my feeling is that it would be better to close this thread ...

Yes you are right Manaka10 they are trouble so I guess you should not apply for BC as you can help the current govt to meet their targets.
