Tbh I thought that everyone joined a big queue to be assigned to a caseworker. Once "on the desk', a person's application is decided on its own merits and the time it takes for a decision to be reached is dependent on each case. This is pure speculation and I'm evidently wrong since you haven't eve...

I applied in January and i haven't got my BAL yet. I tried calling them but getting through is a miracle. So i emailed my MP who responded the next day and assigned someone to look into my case. The person made an enquiry about my application and the %$#% UKBA said that my application is awaiting al...

According to the lady I spoke to, If I do show up with the incorrect details, the biometrics taken would be invalid. Basically they have to ...

Re: Biometric card received

Here's an update on our situation. After 6 months of waiting, we phoned UKBA but they wouldn't tell us anything. We wrote to UKBA and they did not reply. So, I wrote to my MP. He was quick to send an enquiry on our behalf to UKBA, and we received a message from UKBA that they would now assign our a...

I must say this waiting is a real pain!(curses). The UKBA and HO should know there is nothing hilarious about being literally stuck and not...
