Please help filling in form AN. Questions 2.4 and 2.5

I am in the process of filling out form AN and I am not sure how to answer questions 2.4 and 2.5 in section 2. To me, both questions are practically the same and looks like I will have to put the same info in both tables. I am an EEA national, who has been exercising Treaty rights through employment ...

Ha! I don't think either of these applies to me; I enjoy being single and don't want/plan to bring any family members over here.

3 months is a lot of time. I'd like to have it all done this year.

Jumbo, In my first post I was referring only to applications following the obtaining of PR. Some sources said that I can do it 12 months after application and some sources (like the FAQ post written by you) that I need to wait a year after the issue date of my PR. I was referring only to cases when ...

Thanks for your prompt reply Jambo. Yes, it was Q5 that said I would have to wait 12 months after issuing the PR if I want to reference to it. To be frank, I don't really understand it. Why doesn't it count (12 months' period) from the date I sent (or even the date they received) the application? By ...

Personal licence refers to selling alcohol and has nothing to do with driving licence. Hope that helps.

Naturalisation of an EEA national. Who's right and who's not

After living in the UK for almost 9 years now, I think it is time for me to apply for British citizenship, which is also something I do want to do. I first came to the UK in 2004 but in 2007 had a 4 months' break when I was unemployed. I was not claiming any benefits, did not register as a jobseeker ...

Unemployed or Seeking Work?

I'm about to send my EEA3 application but unsure how to classify my periods of unemployment. During the last 5 years of my stay here, I was unemployed for 32 days in total with the longest period lasting 14 days. During those periods I was actively looking for a job although I have no evidence of ...

Thank you for your answer. I was also thinking about applying for PR first just to make sure everything is fine. I don't want to spend over £800 for nothing...

I have P60s, P45s as well as payslips and letters from the employers stating my employment during that time. Two times I was away from the country for longer than a month; once for about 6 weeks and the second time for over 4 months. My absences are within the limit set by the Home Office so I am ...

Periods of unemployment and naturalisation

Hi to all, I have a question that has been posted here a few times before but hasn't really been answered properly. I am an EEA national that's been living in the UK since 2004 and this year I decided to apply for naturalisation as a British citizen. I worked pretty much all the time during that ...
