Re: May 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

The invitation and the acceptance of Naturalisation are one and the same thing so to answer your question yes the invitation is on there but no date or time. It has details of our local council and their telephone number. There are also some details that are presented e.g. Name, Date of Birth, Place...

Re: May 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Hello everyone, Rather unbelieveably after a long night of looking after our poorly son (who kept on waking up after every 5 mins) and keeping an eye on the results of the Scottish Referendum, my wife's naturalisation acceptance letter arrived this morning! Hello people, I had pledged that I won't ring the HO to check my wife's application status till we are near the 6 month deadline but after seeing a few late May approvals come through, I couldn't resist the temptation anymore and rang them this morning. It was about a 10 mins wait to speak to someon...

Thank mycanal1.

Can I please get a confirmation or a comment from one of the GURU's?

I find it a bit hard to comprehend that a letter is now required as uptill now proof of having my institution on the UK NARIC list was sufficient

ILR New English Requirement 2013

Hello, I got tier 1 general visa in 2009. At the that time I proved & submitted that my degree (from abroad) was taught in English and in 2012 got extension on the basis of the same degree. The institution I got my degree from shows up on the UK NARIC list. Now my ILR application is due in Jan 14 an...

I think I have the answer to my question. I believe the form shoudl be SET (M) as my wife had used FLR(M) last and that was also after I had been granted ILR so she is definitely applying as a spouse of a person settled in the UK and not of a person who is in the proces of settling in the UK through...

I got my ILR last year after Tier 1 General and got wife to extend visa using FLR(M) after being in PBS Dependent as she hadn't completed her 2 years qualification period. I went through the normal form finding/checking p...

ILR and FLR(M) for respectives spouses at the same time?

I have a query regarding both mine and my wife's application. I would be applying for my ILR soon after completing 5 years on Tier1. Now my wife only joined me in the UK about 18 months ago and obviously her visa expiry date is the same as mine and she isn't eligible for ILR yet. I want to apply thr...
