Re: ILR long residence: Request to list of all your friends and family in your home country. Really?

Again, not sure sure if you are married or unmarried and what your visa status was before you got the RC. I have had a string of different visas, Student Tier 4, PSW, Tier 2, Then RC. I can see how the HO can easily verify everything but my legality during the RC, hence the demand for evidence of r...

Re: Dependent ILR criteria guidance

1. No, you cannot apply at the same time. Your visa qualifying period starts from the date your dependent visa was issued, as do your childrens. Any time spent on ICT does not count. Your partner can of course wait and apply with the whole family in December 2021. 2. No, they will qualify when you q...

Re: ILR long residence: Request to list of all your friends and family in your home country. Really?

Thought you were applying for 'settled/pre-settled' status under the EU Settlement Scheme?? I am, but looks increasingly likely that I will get only Pre-Settled status for now, as I have only spent 3 years with a RC. That is, if I ever get a decision on my case (it's been three months and counting ...

Thought you were applying for 'settled/pre-settled' status under the EU Settlement Scheme?? 1) You now have to fill in all your absences individually, and cannot update a documents that lists them! Has anyone tried to maybe just list the latest one, or just a few, and attach a word file with the res...

Re: Tier 2 Migrant Switched to ILR what happens with Dependant

If you get ILR based on 5 years Tier 2, then the dependents continue on their tier 2 dependent visas and extend if necessary, till they qualify for ILR.

Re: South African wanting to live in France

Unlikely that a work visa allows family other than spouse and children to be dependents. She would stand a better chance if he was married to an EU (non French) citizen.

Not that 'settled status' is only relevant to the UK. Rest of Europe it is referred to a PR as far as I am aware.

The applicant must not be in the UK- (a) as a visitor; or (b) with valid leave granted for a period of 6 months or less, unless ...

Re: Online Application Checking in London

Hi I've nearly got my Naturalisation (online) application ready to go, although I'd like to have it checked by an immigration lawyer before submitting, I don't want to go with the around £1000 full service, I'd just like an immigration lawyer to spend 10/20 mins going over it and give their opinion...

Re: Apply for general visa while ICT PBS visa is in process

if i wish to extend after 3 years do my employer needs to do same RLMT process? No. RLMT is only required if your SOC and job changes with the same employer OR if you change to another employer which would need a new visa application. Do i need to get the new unrestricted COS with the RLMT process?...
