Re: Citizenship query - time spent outside the UK

Thanks for replying @contorted_svy and @SupperDog.

Can I also request any of the @Moderator, @Respected Guru, or @Diamond/Senior members to advise on this as well? Also what documents I use to show the links to make my case as strong as possible?

Thanks in advance.

Spouse Visa (Family Route) - first extension

Hi, I have applied for my first extension as a Spouse of a British national for FLR (Family Route) before the current Leave to Enter expiry, however, I can't find an appointment with UKVCAS (Spora Steria) to provide my Biometrics and documents before the current Leave to Enter expiry date. Re: Settlement visa refused - Appeal or Fresh application?

Thanks, frazy325 and Casa. Someone told me that once you have filed an Appeal it goes to the ECO first to reconsider the decision (which can take up to 3-4 months) and then ECO can either change its decision based on your appeal information or stick to the same refusal decision and go ahead with App...

Re: Settlement visa refused - Appeal or Fresh application?

Hi frazy325,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I feel the same, caseworker is not knowledge enough to see my Financial req. I am certainly going to fight it out.

Do you know by any chance how much time it takes/taking to complete the appeal process?

Thanks.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

@MrClientServer

You don't have to go via the website route again. For follow up queries you just have to reply to the email response or acknowledgement received from the home office support email (ukvisupport@mailgb.custhelp.com).

Hope that helps.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hi Mash17101,

Congratulations for the decision on ur application first. Can I ask, did you also receive 'not straightforward' email, and how much time it took for you to get the decision after it?

It will be great if you can share your detailed timeline soon... thanks.

Re: Spouse visa application status check

Why I said that because I have read some cases where people have got their IHS fee refunded once the application is decided, which more or less means the application may have been refused. So in this case, as the IHS fee is not refunded (if that's correct) after a decision has been made, then it's a...

Re: Spouse visa application status check

@khan7861 - that means a decision has been made on your application. Has it been approved or refused? you will only get to know once you go and pick the passport. Most likely it is approved only, so don't worry.

Good luck!

could you confirm how much time in total it took for your wife's visa?

Re: uk spouse visa on hold :(

I think we should approach bbc. It may not bring many results but something is better than nothing.

We should raise how is this delay affecting our personal life's, living apart for months and months. Moreover, it is so difficult to work with all the stress because of this delay.

3 weeks from 'awaiting decision'... our application is from Feb 2017. Biometrics did on 28 Feb 2017. So around 4 months in total.
