I did but test was so long ago they couldn't give me details, their advice was to attach a letter to home office in my application explaining the same.

You can - https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/replace-expired-brp Keep in mind a) it might take 6 months and b).you'll only get a card valid until Dec 31, 2024. Schengen Visa Austria - online form

Hi All,

Vfs site says fill online form and that hand written form will not be accepted but there is no online form, everytime I click on form it downloads a PDF copy.

Any ideas where I am going wrong.

I am not sure what a joint travel confirmation letter is? I'd expect it to be something along the lines of "I, [FRIEND NAME], will go with [YOUR NAME] to Austria on [DATES]. Both of us will stay in [ACCOMODATION].", just to confirm that you're housed. I assume your friend's name is on the booking. ...
