Automated message from British Embassy

I have received the following automated message from British Embassy today saying "your visa is ready". Does it mean that they have actually issued a visa or it can also be a refusal? I'm sorry if the question may have been asked before. It's just nerve-racking sitting and waiting for the next few d...

We got the allocation of RCOS yesterday, will be assigned now and I can now apply for entry clearance, hurrrrayyy! Can I ask again how do you go about putting qualifications when assigning CoS, difficult to get through to ukba helpline from here… I’ve found here http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sit...

Date of EC application is the date you pay the fees. If you have not been assigned a RCoS on that date, then it is possible that your EC application may be considered invalid ... as a Tier 2 EC application requires a valid RCoS to be associated with it. I am unable to comment on the online form but...

Thanks, I have to give them all info myself as the HR, level 1 user and my line manager is the same person, and is extremely busy now...it's a very small company. So I think I've read everything about CoS in all the guidelines published but haven't anything on qualifications. There is a section for ...

Thanks, yes, I know, but I understand they also should mention how they assessed my abilities to fill the post, such as degree if required and work experience, such as reference letter from previous employers. I guess they should mention it in the Sponsor's Note when they assign the CoS to me?

I am also quite interested as I will be in the same boat next month..I have seen on some solicitors' and universities' websites that UKBA informs sponsors within 5 working days of the decison made during the allocation panel, i.e. the 11th plus 5 working days.

restricted CoS application

Hello, just a quick question to ask where the employer needs to add the qualifications required for the post, such as degree and proof of work experience - in Sponsor's note or somewhere else? I apologize if the question appears dumb, but I do not have the access to the SMS and I need to explain how...

Restricted CoS, SOC codes from 14/06, entry clearance date

Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me decide. I was initially expected to be assigned an unrestricted CoS and switch from Tier 4 into Tier 2 back in April. However my sponsor only applied for the licence on 15 February and got the e-mail about the licence approval on 04 May and login to SMS only on ...

ASAP Hmm...if I could, I would have applied ASAP months ago. The employer's licence is delayed. My question is "can I apply on the last day of my visa validity or not". If the employer gets the licence on this last day (there is still a chance, however flimsy it may be), can I apply or not? Can som...

tier 2 /new online visa application system

I couldn't find it anywhere on UKBA website. Maybe someone has already heard about it. I have a question on new system of online applications introduced in mid Feb. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/newsarticles/2012/february/24-tier25-online How does it work in terms of leave expiry.
