Family Visit category no longer exists.

It is just a general visit visa now. No right of appeal.

I think it is possible but need to support with evidence. Better consult with a lawyer

The solicitors also mentioned that 90% of all the rest of the applicant were above 65 and did not have to meet the exceptional compassionate test, but still got refused with no right of appeal. I don't think anyone will give your their details. Your best bet is to request the said information from UKBA under Freedom of Information Act. That would give you what you need. But then UKBA will argue that each case is different and can not be compared with others even if it is similar/harder/eas...

Thanks for the info. I think we posted the application on 5th. It took over 4 months for biometric letter to be sent. Done bio in early December and no news after.

When did the other applicant done biometrics.

We also applied in july. I think there is a huge delay in processing.

Did your parents apply under old rules (pre July 9th 2012) or under new rules. Either case there is no fast track and this is one of the complex category.
