Morning folks, thought I'd share with you all where things are at with my ILR SET(O) app. I'm 1 week shy of an agonising 6months wait, so I feel all of your pain ... trust me. I called up my MP's office this morning and they offered to call UKBA and enquire where in the process my application is. J...

Hi youoz, did you apply by post or at PEO and when? Bash My timeline is in the main list but briefly here, I applied by post on 22 Feb 2012 (so before BRP came into play). I did go to Solihull PEO for my appointment on 22 Feb but they refused to review my application and said I needed to apply by p...

Skirty, I got really excited reading your post but alas I think the link is to the UK visa processing times for applications made outside of the UK.

I wish the HO would sort itself out and get their act together so they can give us all the correct advice. I attended my appointment at Sollihul on 20 Feb and was turned away because I had been out of the country for more than 225 days (no one stretch more than 90 days). I was made to go via the pos...

I believe if you call the 0870 number there is some recorded information on how long it takes to get your documents back once you've requested them. I seem to remember it was something like 3 weeks but I could be wrong..I didn't pay much attention to that bit. I think it would be very risky to try t...

I am surprised that people are planning holidays abroad not knowing whether they will have their passport at the time. people book their holidays months in advance, sometimes even 6 months in advance (not an unreasonable time to believe you'll get the passports back) because they can't pay for expe...

Dejavu - thought I should share with you my recent experience of this. Like yourself I've travelled a fair amount in the past 5 years and like you, practically all taken as annual leave days / weekends / public holidays and they all totalled to 240 days out of the UK. HO are now applying the 180 day...

Hi, 1st of all thanks to all for the most useful info on this forum - wish I had found it earlier! So yes I've been a silent reader on this forum. If you could add me to the list that would be great. I've applied for SET(O) (HSMP + Tier 1 general) Application date: Tue 21/02/12 Application received:...
