You need to wait for the letter. Appointments are available, you won't wait long but also depends where in the UK you are. Applied 15/04/15 still waiting... Got a call back from HO yesterday and was told the same old... "We aim to process your application as soon as possible". I would have preferred they didn't call back at all to be quite honest unless they were giving me valuable information. And so the wait continue...
