Re: ILR dependant visa Financial Requirement

Could you please explain why I need to show £18,600 if Im here in UK since March 2007.
Second, if we have to show £18,600 for 6 months then can we just get them in the current account under my husbands name for 6 months and share the bank statements. Would that do?

Re: ILR dependant visa Financial Requirement

Even in the case of showing £18,600 how are we suppose to show that? I already mentioned my husband doesn't get and wage slips it's a cash in hand job that he does. Can we show this amount in terms of Saving? if yes then how long 3 months or 6 months?

Re: 10 Years Long Residence Inquiry

Yes it's legal but it has no record. He gets the money in a week or sometimes in two weeks time and then deposits into the bank. So there is no slip involved.

Re: 10 Years Long Residence Inquiry

Thanks Amber. I read it very carefully. It was mentioned in Immigration Rules 319E b(i), c(i) and d(i). If I'm not suppose to evidence any finances or bank statements what else in documentation is necessary?

No news here either. As far as I know (and from reading reports on here) there have been no further technical problems this week so the applications that they couldn't process last week should have been dealt with by now. This delay is completely unacceptable when one has paid £1350 for a "premium" ...
