Re: Is it mandatory for Professional Referee to have engaged in professional capacity (MN1)

Thanks all for your valued inputs. Just an update - after much consideration my son's teacher agreed to put here name as referee. Even the GP agreed finally but was charging £50 fee so we decided to not use him. If not for these referees then I would have gone with any of my professional referee fri...

Is it mandatory for Professional Referee to have engaged in professional capacity (MN1)

I'm in process of filling MN1 form for my son. For the professional referee - will a Dr. who has NOT engaged with the child in professional capacity be OK ? Reason I ask this: The Doctor in question is our neighbor and good family friend. He has never seen our son in professional capacity but is wil...

Re: Address of Home Office for Absence and Employment Letters

Update on ILR application: I used the before mentioned address for employer letters and have successfully got the ILR. As mentioned by experts on this forum - you don't even need to put even an address and can simply get away with 'TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN'. Having said that, for cases where employers...

Re: Incorrect entry in HMRC record

As part of my ILR application - I added a letter by concerned University mentioning the exact situation and that P45 was generated in Error and corrected in same financial year. Also, it confirmed that at no point I was an employee at University and thereby not liable for any payment for the session...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

I applied for ILR under Tier-2 General 5 Year route using Super Priority Service at Birmingham Centre on 2nd Feb ie Saturday. Costed me £100 extra for this appointment as this was on weekend. I have just had a decision sent via email (06 Feb i.e. Wednesday morning)stating below: I am pleased to conf...

Re: Main applicant's ILR application pending to a dependant child

Hi Rags,

I'll be in same boat next week and expecting similar query from case worker.

Would be really helpful - if you can please confirm the language you finally used and the final outcome of your ILR application ?

Goodluck!
Thanks in advance.

Re: Skip dependent child ILR application

On little more searching on forum I seem to have got answer for my query and I believe it can be answered as below:

"I will be registering my child as British under Section 1(3) of the BNA once my ILR is approved"

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Incorrect entry in HMRC record

I understand the query is a bit tricky and I'll rephrase it to below: " When applying ILR via Tier 2 General route, can/does the case workers/HO usually object if they see an additional employment (with £o income) along with usual sponsored employment. If yes - should I clarify this in covering lett...

Hi Gurus, Background: I'm on Tier 2 General on Shortage Occupation for last 5 year 4 months. I'll be applying for ILR under Super Priority service next month but I noticed that in HMRC records there is an entry for another employer with £0 INCOME. Gurus, I currently have leave to remain in UK under TIER 2 General (for a shortage occupation SOC ) and would be making ILR application after 2016. I'll be going on maternity leave of about 9 months this year (will be in UK for most of the time thus not breaking 180 day rule). Query: Will the time t...
