Thanks Gala! :) Now let's hope it goes through quickly! :) @ UKWannabe, glad to read your post, you really deserved that apology. I wonder why you have to wait to the end of August to get your papers back, how long do they take to get those biometrics permits ready? Anyways, hope the wait ends soon ...

Re: Freedom at last

Congrats, Littlebits! So happy for you! I received some good news today - I actually received a phone call from a Senior Caseworker @ UKBA (who looks after complaints) apologising for all the inconvenience I've encountered with my application. She said there is no excuse as to why I had to wait 4 ...

Hi Bash, I sent a fax on 10th July and I had a letter from them on 27th July (dated 20th July). I still can't understand why it took them 4 months to advise they didn't get my Biometrics but now I know what the deal is so I'm ok *for now*! ;) I just thought 'what do I have to lose' by faxing and I'm ...

I am in the same boat - why not fax them and ensure they have everything necessary to process your application? The best fax number is: 0151 213 2910. I did this and they advised me they were still waiting for my Biometrics (that I sent off on 30th March - whole other story!!) - so I believe someone ...

I believe you can call them and explain your situation; there is a number on the letter you receive to advise them if you can't get your Biometrics within 14 days of the date on the letter. I agree - you'll most likely be a father before you get your letter from UKBA! How exciting for you! :) Hi all ...

Re: SET(O) February 20 - 26th

Second trip to Romsey Post Office - Biometrics Take II

Hi ya, Went to Romsey Post Office today and submitted my Biometrics the second time. I was hoping when they scanned the bar code from my second letter that my details would pop up but sadly nothing came up on their system. Re: Biometrics at Romsey

I'm going to be there @ 9am tomorrow to get my Biometrics taken again and then call them on Monday and update them. I think I'll fax them as well - good suggestion. I'm so mad at that Post Office - warning to everyone who uses that Post Office. Unfortunately, it's the only one that's close to me ...

Re: ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I'm going crazy - I have every receipt/letter - everything but the freakin receipt they gave me for the Biometrics on 29th March. The only thing I have is the transaction on my Bank Statement when I paid with my Debit Card- would that be proof enough do you think??? Can you freakin' believe this ...

Re: ILR Set (O) Application

I am just so upset right now, you have absolutely no idea. I'm going to call them on Monday to see what I do but from what I gather I have to do them again. The letter states that because I didn't have it done within the 15 days of the original letter (from March) I now have 17 days to submit them ...

Re: Passport received

Hello! Has anyone received any confirmation from UK Immigration when they received your Biometrics? The reason I ask, I applied on 1st March, had my Biometrics taken on 30th March. I'm a bit concerned because the machine broke down when they were taking my fingerprints. The man in the Romsey post ...
