I think once you get your passport, you'll not need this certificate anymore. after that passport will be the proof of your nationality.

I would suggest to complaint to UKBA, local MPs and other authorities....probably it is best if someone writes a general letter of complaint and upload it here so that it would be easy for others.

I applied on the basis of 6year (1year WP+4year Tier1+1year ILR). My nationality is Pakistani, may be nationality makes difference.....

Elliass, I doubt postal applications are fast. No one knows why some people get approval within 4 to 6 weeks and takes longer for some. May be it depends on original nationality? I applied by post in first week of Feb and still waiting ...

Smoking can kill you but this incident has no affect on your naturalisation application. There is no need to declare it. Thanks Jambo, my incident is slightly different.
