Does person counted as 'British', if she was born in Kampala in 1960 and while her stay in India From 1965 till 2006 she had Passport as 'British Subject' "Citizen of the UK and colonies"???

the daughter was not born before 1983 to a British mother, she was born before 1983 to an Indian national who later naturalised as a British citizen.
