Re: expulsion by tire 4 sponsor

I would recommend him appeal to the college and meet with them. Perhaps he could explain his circumstances to why his attendance is quite low - such as health problems if any, family issues - eg. child care, child's health issues, dependant care leave etc. If he has any of these and can provide supp...

Re:

My bad, just posted the link. PIO is valid for 15 years and when a minor gets a new passport (typically after 5 years), PIO in old passport is still valid. With OCI, new application has to be made when the passport is renewed after 5 years. Cost of PIO for minor is £112 at the moment, and OCI is £1...

Re: Surrendring Indian passport

Hi all, A quick clarification regarding surrender of Indian passport. After obtaining naturalization when you surrender your Indian passport, will they cancel and return the original Indian passports (old ones) back? Or will they retain it? I know someone has answered this before but I forgot what t...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

If the UKBA letter says fees paid in full -it means precisely that. Give it a month for confirmation of successful application if there is no further queries. My experience is that it usaually takes a month from acknowledging receipt of application and granting it. Thanks Roh!! Yes, fees paid in fu...

Hi all,
Does anyone know if the original passports (proof of ILR) sent along with the application for naturalisation will be returned soon or will it only be returned along with the naturalisation certificate.

Cheers,
