Pre 9 July employment.

Hey guys,

Have any of you been paid in all cash or cheque/ cash?
Slightly worried as I deposited a certain amount every month in to account through cheque. But used cash for my own uses.
Would this be okay? (applied before 9th July)

That's a shame. It was down to one reason. You should appeal, no point reapplying maybe next time they will pick at something else. you might as well appeal because you just need to shown 6 month payslips. Time isn't an issue anymore because usual applications are taking as long. At least this way y...

Any ideas what you're going to submit?

You would think people in such a role would not over look things especially considering the files have been there for 6 months!!!!

I'm worried about something crucial being overlooked in my case :/

Sorry to hear that.
You need to enquire about this as a lot of people were refused due to having only being given 1 certificate from City and Guilds. You need to have one for listening and one for speaking.

Documents to be approved..

Hey guys, If you are the sponsor and have to get any documents attested. The best person to do so would be a solicitor, yes? Would it still be okay if a MP/ councillor signed them? Or would that be a concer for the person checking the file and doubting the authenticity because it was not signed from...

Okay. I get that. Maybe my explanation is poor. For example my friend wrote up a sponsor declaration form. He wanted to get it signed and to be on the safe side showed his solicitor who happily attested documents just to show that he has checked and approved the documents. (even the photocopied ones...

No no , for example as the sponsor. You need to get documents such as declaration / accomodation documents attested/ even passport photocopies. Should they always be attested by a solictor? If they are signed/ stamped by a councillor or an MP will that cast doubt? Do they only want attested document...
