Diovrce for Romaian and Bulgarian citizens

As I understand Bulgarian and Romania citizens who are married or in civil partnership with UK citizens automatically get unrestricted access to UK work market. But what if they want to get divorced? Does that cancel their status? As you know, UK doesn't require people who have unrestricted access t...

Re: no time limit.

I don't think there is a timescale for HO to issue visa once appeal is allowed. My appeal was allowed on 19th October and still waiting but mine was allowed on article 8 basis. I really hope you get it sooner. I see. Oh God, more waiting. This is getting ridiculous. I was waiting for over 7 months ...

on what grounds was the appeal allowed I meet the requirements of Paragraph 284. Basically, I entered civil partnership, and of course had to apply for extension of stay, probationary period. But unfortunately, I have sent the wrong form, the one for indefinite leave to remain, rather than leave to...

Appeal has been granted - now what???

I had to make an appeal because I sent a wrong form (I'm in UK). My appeals has, of course, been granted as it was just an honest mistake, but that was few weeks ago, and I don't know how long will it take for the UKBA to sort my application out? Does anybody know how long these things take? Thank you

The thing is, I have sent the wrong form, and of ...

So... wait, just to clarify something. I know under the new rules we have to meet a minimum income of £18000 before tax, but does that only apply to the sponsor? Can't it be a combination of the sponsor + applicant or even just the applicant alone? I've applied since 13th July and NO biometrics let...

Hi everyone, looking for a bit of advice. My wife came to the UK on the 3rd July on a fiancee visa. We got married on the 25th August and want to submit our FLR (M) application this week. Can someone please advise which version I would apply under, the new rules or old rules? I have no idea which f...

Re: Withdraw and re-apply

http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/postal_flrm_applications_times_a#incoming-311921 Is it possible for UKBA to return the applicant's passport back for travel purposes without withdrawing the application? Maybe that could be a suggestion to our MPs, so that when UKBA comes to our application the...

Can anybody recall the last forum member to receive their BRP? Seems to me that it has been somewhere between 60 and 90 days. With so many members reaching and passing their 6 month mark, I am now getting concerned that even the six month mark is a bogus promise from UKBA. You are right. It has bee...

Once an application is submitted it cannot be turned into a premium service. which mean you will have to withdraw your old application and file a new one from scratch plus i have also heard that there arent any premium visa service appointments available in the near future. I know all that, but even if the rules are changed, I have arrived in UK before new rules and entered civil partnership, so it doesn't look like they would affect me. I know I would lose the money, but after 27 weeks of waiting I honestly don't care anymore. I would pay for the premium service just...

Does anybody know what would happen in case one decides to withdrawn the application, and reapply using premium service? 1. You will lose the fee, so would have to pay £867 again 2. You will need a completely new application (remember rules changed) and more documentation 3. If your case is not pro...

One of the things I often wonder is if the UKBA scrutinise certain applications more closely than others, based solely on the applicant's nationality. It might explain why some applications are processed in just a couple of months, while others are dragged out for six or more. No I don't believe th...
