Right of Abode stamp - actual terms and timelines

My wife has a British Citizenship for more than a year already (proven by original Naturalisation Certificate), however she does not have a British passport yet. Her application is on hold for 11 month so far by a policy team, who require her to change her maiden name to marriage name in her foreign...

Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

You got Naturalization Approval for free ? lucky chap[/quote] Actually they have taken the fee dated the same day as Acknowledgement letter. But the progress is great indeed, taking into account the date 20-th of May . the whole process took 3 month and 10 days. P.S. Brighton NCS is evil, with a ver...

Applied 20/05/2015 at NCS Brighton, the money was withdrawn on 07/06/2015 and have received biometrics letter dated same 07/06/2015 - so who told that June applicants were put forward may be sort of right on that.

Re: August 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

The thing I found worth of attention is that Prahar and Krisbal got their approval strange dated - 25-th and 26-th of October. Which stands for Saturday and Sunday correspondingly. Do they work on weekends? This is so very little likely to Britain especially for government organisations. Does that m...

Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Questions to those who are already with passport. 1. When applying they ask to countersign a photo. Is it exactly the same photo that will be printed in your passport or they do a separate digital photo of you? I have a passport photo that I extremely like so would want it to be in my passport. 2. D...

Re: TIER1 Dependant Applying to ILR after main has already I

Even in the same lines with all these doubts. Experts please clarify if Tier1 general dependant applying as ILR dependant should use SET(O) form only or FLR(M). As SET(O) form was used by me for ILR ,dependants also use same form? When dependant does not qualify for ILR (less than 2 years in countr...

TIER1 Dependant Applying to ILR after main has already ILR

I got multiple questions with SET(o) form for TIER1 dependant applying to ILR after main has already ILR. Majority of the forms seems quite irrelevant. In general, is there any adequate gidance on how to fill the form in my case? Maybe there are topics covered here I was unable to find? Questions: P...

No timeslots in Croydon for 23 April and so on

I am trying to book an appointment for Croydon PEO for 23 of April with no luck - no appointments for 23, 24 and 25 (wed - fri) for some reasons. There are appointments for 22-nd however I am not eligible at this day yet. There are also appointments for other PEOs for both 23 and 24 but not for Croy...

Re: Advice me Good Immigration Lawyer for ILR Application

I've done all my 3 extensions with Anton Koval, he's extremely perfect, especially with my last very indirect complex ILR case.
However he works in Solihull PEO of Birmingham.

His phone was 0330 001 0342 eight month ago.

Hope this helps.

TIER1 Dependant separately applying for ILR after main appl.

Hello friends, I am wondering about my current situation - I already have ILR, but my spouse did not qualify for ILR applying together with me because she missed 2 years in country. So she was issued an ordinary TIER1 (dep) extension, as normal. She is applying in couple month (in PEO) when she qual...

And what happens if I come to UK being away more than 2 years? I will be easily able to board the plane, as the air company does not know about my absenses. As I guess, when trying to pass border officer, he will replace ILR with something like ILE. Am I right? Will the person be let into the countr...

You should not worry In majority situations all the caseworker does is just comparing the last registered address with the address people state in their applications. Or do not even bother with this. For example, I live in Brighton, and Sussex police registers newcomers just once per month which mak...

sushdmehta, that goes without saying - until they clarify out all aspects and finally make it a law all the discussions are nothing more than rumours.

so, waiting for the official UKBA guidance covering that.

Ok, as it is quite confusing, what goes with those already in UK. Can we assume on my situation as an example: I am main TIER1 applicant have entered UK 28/09/2008 and I become eligible for ILR on 02/09/2013 (because of 5 years minus 28 days). I got recently married and my wife entered UK on 20/05/2...
