I've done wp to hsmp switch a year ago and doing my hsmp extention now. I don't think they contact the employer. As long as your bank statements or payslips look authentic I don't think there's need to ask your employer.

Hiya, If I had to take the decision which of you should apply I would go for the one with more points. I believe it is better to score more points as in some occasions they might not calculate the points exactly as you do. It doesn't make a difference if you apply while on WP and more than that you ...

not only difficult it is impossible.
download FLR(IED) form and read what visas allow switching to HSMP.
Basically you can't, the legal way is to go back to your home country and apply for EC. Good Luck!

yes agree, everyone will have different opinion.
I would say that Milton Keynes is a very nice place to live and at the same London Euston is just 40 min travel by train, birmingham 1 hr and all the smaller places around like northampton or luton are less than 1/2 hr by car.

It is not easy to get a job before landing. most recruiters will not even consider calling you, some of them will call you but will only ensure that they can pass your CV to the employer. You must be v ery lucky to have your CV sent to employers which only wish to interview you via telephone. Have a...

Yes I did that, as long as the documents you intend to send are not result of the time after you sent your original package.
Like for example if you wish to send a degree or certificate obtained by the time after submitting your docs initially.

On my letters I even requested that people put a sentence sa...

I also got my approval without sending tax returns.
However I claimed 100 points so I would get approval without income points if everything else was awarded. Cannot be 100% sure that I got the points for income. I send my application from Bulgaria.

I would say it also depends whether it is legal to do so in the specific country. For example in Bulgaria it wasn't legal af few years ago. Only recently they've allowed it. But in my case they did not check. I guess it depends on what other evidence for income you supply. I was coming with an emplo...
