Re: When to pay online British Citizenship application

Many thanks Alterhase58 Its a bit strange that you have to wait till 12 months after ILR to make the payment. I would have thought that once you entered the commencement of your ILR, that the website would block you from making the payment, or you can make the payment, but only submit your applicati...

When to pay online British Citizenship application

Hi all I am currently completing my British Citizenship application online. Should I make the payment when I'm eligible to apply? I got my ILR 18/01/2018, should I make the payment after 18/01/2019? Can I also confirm if I need a letter from my previous employer to confirm my employment? When comple...

Re: ILR and 28 days rule

Hi CR001 & Zimba Thank you for your prompt relies :) @CR001, I'm a little more confused with your reply. Hi Zimba88 thanks for the reply again I got this message from the Freedom of Information "If you have entered the UK within 180 days of your initial Tier 2 visa being granted, then your 5 years qualifying period will start from the date of entry into the UK. Re: ILR and 28 days rule

Wow thanks for the quick reply Zimba88

I was worried that the period between 25/01/2013 to 17/02/2013 would not count as allowable absences.

So technically, I could apply for ILR on the 29/12/2017?

Many thanks again :)

Cheers

Re: Promotion and pay rise on Tier 2 General (URGENT)

Also I noticed that the original SOC code was 2329 However, this was based on SOC 2000 It has now spilt into 2 codes for SOC 2010 2119 2426 Would updating these details along with a promotion and pay rise require a change of employment application to be filled? Looking forward to any advice Cheers

Leave to remain when switching employers

Hi there I am currently on a Tier 2 (General) visa, which was obtained on the 31 January 2013. Re: A year into Tier 2 few questions

Ahh thanks again Manci :) Since I got my Tier 2 Visa (general) on the 31/01/2013 In regards to the Tier 2 visa extension, do I have to be earning £35,000 for all three years to be eligible for the extension? Or can this just be the last year? This is also one reason I need to switch jobs if possible...

Hi Manci Much appreciated for your response, your a shining gem to this immigrationboards :) I always thought that if you were sponsored with a restricted CoS, that you couldn't get an unrestricted CoS from a new sponsor. Hi Greenie I'm pretty confused myself why they cannot provide me tax details. I thought it was simple enough, where I just add the total income I earned and taxes and national insurance I paid, and if I had overpaid, HMRC should pay me back. However, the call centre person asked his supervisor, stat...

My situation is, I left my employment in August 2012 as my Tier 5 visa expired and only returned back to the UK in February 2013 under a Tier 2 visa. Given my absence, I'm wondering whether I might have o...
