hi, I need some expert opinoin , please. I will complete 10 years legal/continuous stay on 15 sep'12. My uni has told me that I wiil cease to be student from 17 Aug'12 and they are informinh UKBA. why wait for "out of time application".
Apply before 28 days of qualifying period and keep your finger crossed.

Hi
If you have lawful residence until 1.10.12, there is no reason to worry.
You can also apply for ILR before 28 days before completing qualifying period.
