Re: Wife English is a nightmare - Help

Yes, I have a degree from outside the UK and I only supplied my degree certificate and the print out of the PBS calculator showing the points awarded. Also need life in the UK certificate and that was it for English language and LIUK requirements.

Re: Wife English is a nightmare - Help

I can assure you that your wife will be fine as long as she has been given 30 points on qualification and 10 points on English language on the PBS calculator. I had my application approved on that same basis yesterday, no issues at all.

Help to buy scheme eligibility

Does anyone know if the Help to buy scheme is classified as a public fund under the immigration rules? Is there a risk that I may be rejected for ILR if I have previously applied for the Help to buy scheme?

Your guidance on this would be greatly appreciated

ILR after working in England and Guernsey

If one worked in Guernesey on work visa for 2 years and then changed jobs and moved to London, England still under the Tier 2 visa. Does the move from Guensey result in the ILR restarting or do you continue , that is need to work for a further 3 years before applying for ILR.

Hope thats clear

I'm no expert but I would say apply before visa expires rather than waiting for COS. Then you can submit the COS details as additional evidence. You would need a cover letter from emplyer explaining the situation and requesting processing delay. I was in your situation a few weeks ago and that's the ...

Premium appointment

Hi, i'm no expert but hear you could enlist the service of same day appointments solicitors. They could get an appoinment for you on short notice but it comes at a huge cost, upto £1000 pounds. Probably consider that as last resort or just do postal application. One question, how long did it take ...
